    Lexdysia?
So I was standing the in the que (that's the British way of saying "line") at McD's yesterday when I saw a newspaper headline, "60,000 Kids Hit the Books."

Then it dawned on me, how cool would it be if that headline read, "60,000 Books Hit Kids."

That'd be awesome! I mean, who wouldn't wanna read an article with a headline like that?

I found this tonight while brushing my teeth and sitting at the computer.

Very interesting. I see a lot of my parents' tendencies described in this particle. Also started bringing to mind some verses.

    You Are 21 Years Old

    21

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

    Funny...
I was skipping through random peoples' myspaces today when I found a picture of some one we arrested at Target a while back. HA! Small world.

Right, so bagpipe camp was so fun, it should be illegal to have that much fun. In some cases, it actually was. SWEET.

Ok, so I brought along my fancy-shmancy brand-spanking new digital camera (Canon A510 for those keeping score at home) and it was awesome. I took over 350 photos over a week with a 128 mb card, plus some short, crazy videos, as you see there.

Now, for the week, IN PHOTOZ!

The brave dad sets out driving the family out.

Driving down the highway, through the mountains.

Until the cops showed up. And we went really slow behind some double-wide mobile home up the side of a mountain. BLAST!

Some pretty pictures of the pretty mountains.

Then we arrive to Flagstaff, and they'll accept anyone! Even Martians.

    A SUNSET!

My little friend Duncan competing for his first solo competition! His dad taught me to play pipes.

I then played for a dance compeition, ALLLL DAY. This is Mindy, she helped out a TON all week at camp, and ran the dance competition.

This is Costa. He's like, freaking insane. He wore a kilt and dreads. He's my hero.
    Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This is Jenny Jones (HAHA!). She helped me in the morning with piping by telling the little kids when to go on stage and stuff. She also is Mormon. Of course.

Liz thinking she's ghetto. "I wanna play some chess, yo!" She's homeschoolghetto.

Then the rain hit. And things sucked. Well, actually they blew. Really hard. You'll be seeing more pictures of rain and wind later.

This is the kids from the band! We have Conner, Jennifer, Amber (she looks older but she's only 14), Tasha (she's Duncan's little sister), and Duncan. Jennifer is also a hot Mormon girl. Of course.

Then Sunday, we got to camp! And we hooked up with our old friends from last year. This is Eric in his Mini Cooper. He's been trying to hook me up with his daughter for the last year.

    Ain't it purdy?
So, I've been reading through Victory Over the Darkness by Neil Anderson. GOOD STUFF! And if you don't read Bondage Breaker (the next book in the series) when you're done reading that, you're cheating no one but yourself.

Anyway, I took some of the stuff out of the book and made it in to a cool screen saver.

So, I was Team Member of the month at my STORE! WHOOO HOOOO!!!!! YAYUH! GO ME. On the thing that talks about it says I'm recognize as one of the top trainers in the distrct. Ooooh, fanthy.

I also got a $25 giftcard... Hmmm, what to buy? What to buy!! I donno what to do, really. I've been told to get the first season of Reno 911 on DVD, as it is most friggin' hillarious.

    All in favor, say "I!"

    Weird news stories...

Check this out! A five-legged calf.

And check out this story http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/2005/May-19-Thu-2005/news/26552976.html

I love this line from it

Henley, 16, said she had to dodge the speeding car, yet she questioned the officer's decision to fire in the bustling parking lot.

"I definitely don't think it was necessary to shoot at the car when there were that many students around," she said.

Why on EARTH are they quoting a ditzy 16 year old girl on the proper use of lethal force??? Why does her opinion even matter? Does she have the training, knowledge, or any other prerequisites to even make a decision on such a thing? NO! oooh, but she was "there," so let's ask her! She'll know! haha, yeah, no. Yet another case of the media using ANY possible materials available to bash Law Enforcement.

    Life, duh!
Ok, I think I seriously invested in the most awful piece of crap earphones I could have spent $20 on. Maybe there's some trick to them I haven't figured out yet...

Nope, I'm pretty sure they suck.

Work is good. They're having interviews for the promotion this Tuesday. I'm not going. Not ready yet. :(

I got a tetanus shot today. I've felt better...

I have to open in the morning, and they had me work a closing. Bastadges! And to top it off, my body is fighting off the ravages of tetanus as we speak. I think it would be much more beneficial for me to sleep in tomorrow.
